Horizontal is an architectural book completed in early 2026 for Idee Architects in Vietnam. The publication brings together a selection of villas designed by the practice over a ten-year period, from 2015 to 2025, outlining a journey of architectural practice closely connected to housing, landscape, and contemporary ways of living.
Alongside the project documentation, the book records an intimate conversation between myself and architect Trần Ngọc Linh, opening up the thoughts behind the design process: from approaches to the site and the organisation of living spaces to the relationship between architecture, nature, and the rhythm of each family’s life. Horizontal is therefore not only a collection of projects, but also a reflection on Idee Architects’ thinking about residential design over a decade of practice.
