Beauty does not always belong to grand buildings, solemn museums, or works of art displayed in special places. Sometimes, it begins with the smallest things: a curve on a door handle, a chair that fits the body, a window that welcomes the morning light, or an object made with the care of human hands.

Art Nouveau once reminded us that art should not stand too far from life. Art can enter the house, the room, the table, the lamp, the window frame, the staircase, and even the most familiar objects around us. When everything around us is made with attention and a love for beauty, the space we live in becomes warmer and more meaningful.
After completing this book, I gained a new friend: Linh Nguyễn of The Nouveau Lab.
